Moxa for turning a Breech Baby

Moxa for turning a breech baby.

Turning Breech Babies Naturally: Exploring Acupuncture and Moxibustion for Optimal Birthing Position

Burning the herb Moxa (mugwort) close to the point Bl67 for breech is one of the most well studied treatments in acupuncture, and is included in the WHO list as 'proven effective’.

Around 32-36 weeks the baby usually will settle down into a head down position in the pelvis. If you find out that your baby is not in this position you can use this treatment to help balance and support your body to optimize positioning.

If you book an acupuncture session for this, a case study will still be done to understand the body.
I will also do acupuncture points to help balance the energies in the body and a Moxa treatment is explained and done during the treatment.

At the end, Moxa sticks will be given along with instructions to take home and do daily.
A full course of Moxa is 10 days and if the baby is still breech you start another course.
The treatments work well in conjunction with seeing a Chiropractor that does the Webster technique.

Consultation with a Qualified Practitioner:

Before considering acupuncture and moxibustion, it's crucial to consult with a qualified acupuncturist that specializes in pregnancy acupuncture. They can assess your health and pregnancy status to determine if these techniques are suitable for you.

Being in Flow

Being in flow

You can feel this in birth.
There is a rhythm, in the sounds and the sway.
The partner can equally trust this and hold the space. Together moving in the experience and the realm of intrinsic flow.
To be simply be in the experience.
~
Sit quietly and think what words come to you to help you remember this. Hold these words, tell your partner so they can use them for you. Let the words come to you and trust they are there for you..
